Hi! I’m Cathryn Lin. 👋
Hi, I’m Cathryn — a technologist, product thinker, and dog enthusiast currently based in the DC area. By day, I’m a Technical Program Manager at Microsoft, where I orchestrate large-scale infrastructure programs that bring data centers and AI hardware pipelines to life. I thrive at the intersection of engineering, operations, and user impact — building products at scale, driving cross-team alignment, executing end-to-end programs, and defining metrics that matter.
Beyond that, I’m a storyteller and builder at heart. I studied Information Systems and Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon out of a passion for how people and technology shape one another. I’ve designed, researched, and built products with real customer impact — some of which you’ll find on my homepage. That same curiosity now fuels my exploration into AI-driven products and intelligent, human-centered experiences.
Outside of work, you’ll find me experimenting with pottery 🥣, capturing light on my film cameras🎞️, or hanging out with my very fluffy golden retriever puppy🦮. I’m also invested in inclusive communities — whether that’s mentoring aspiring PMs, supporting women in tech, or just sharing the best dog park recs.
Let’s connect — happy to chat about products and fun things, or just grab matcha and boba! 🍵🧋
